User Rules

These user rules determine the conditions for using the Neutrino WebShop (hereinafter “Our Website”) provided by Neutrino Inc. (hereinafter “we”, “us” or “Neutrino Inc.”).

Aside from these user rules, details including instructions on how to use the services provided by Our Website (hereinafter “Our Services”) can be found on the “Shopping Guide” and “Frequently Asked Questions” of Our Website. We hope that you will confirm the information provided there as well, since they also in effect constitute the user rules.

Please also be aware that we may make changes in the user rules without prior notice.

“User”
1. The user refers to the individual or organization using Our Services.
“Member”
1. A member is an individual or organization that has recognized the user rules and registered for membership on Our Website in line with the methods we specify.
2. A member must have registered for membership as described in the preceding clause, and have received our approval. We have the right to disapprove membership registration and to not necessarily approve of all the data submitted for registration.
3. Members must quickly make revisions when there are changes in the data such as names, addresses and other information submitted to the website.
4. Members must agree to properly control the passwords submitted to Our Website and not let them be known to other people.
Our Services and guarantee
1. Our Services are the services on Our Website that allows users to search for products and to make orders, and to be informed of delivery.
2. We have the right to change or terminate the content and type of database used in Our Services, and to change or terminate certain functions in Our Services without prior notice to users.
Operation hours for Our Services
1. In principle, Our Services will be in operation 24 hours a day for 365 days of the year (366 days in a leap year). We accept telephone inquiries about Our Services from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 17 p.m. We cannot respond on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, the Year end holidays, and New Year holidays, and on holidays we have designated.
2. We have the right to shorten the operation hours of Our Services, and to temporarily halt or terminate Our Services without prior notice to users in the event of a computer breakdown, disorder in lines, emergency inspection and maintenance, or any other unavoidable circumstance.
Copyright
1. The copyright for the services provided to users and other related services belong to us.
2. Users may not copy, sell, publish, or give to a third-party by any method the information gained through the services provided by Our Website or other related services.
3. Users may not use Our Services for commercial purposes.
Acts that are prohibited in using Our Services

In using Our Services, users may not be engaged in the acts defined in the list below. We have the right to enforce termination of membership and to take appropriate action such as demanding compensation for damages, if we decide a user has engaged in or is likely to be engaged in any of the acts listed below.

(1) Acts that go against public order and morals
(2) Acts that lead to criminal conduct
(3) Acts that violate the copyright of users or of a third party
(4) Acts that violate the assets or privacy of users or a third party
(5) Acts that violate the copyright of Neutrino Inc.
(6) Acts that are detrimental or defamatory toward users or a third party
(7) Acts that damage credibility of our website and Neutrino Inc.
(8) Acts that impede the operation of our website
(9) Any acts that are similar to those described from (1) to (8)
7. Password protection
1. Members must bear their own responsibility in protecting, using and keeping their passwords private. They must not give, lend or show the passwords to or trade in the passwords with a third party. In the case that a third party uses a password, we will regard this as a member using a password, and will treat its use as valid. Therefore, the member who owns the password will be totally responsible for any effect and damages that we may suffer from the use of a password by a non-member.
2. Members must immediately notify us if they become aware that their passwords have been fraudulently used by a third party.
Telecommunication lines and equipment
1. To use Our Services, users are responsible for preparing the necessary environment such as setting up telecommunication lines, facilities, equipment and software, etc. and paying for these expenses.
2. We do not offer guarantee for the operation of any of the facilities, equipment, software, etc. that are used for using Our Services.
Orders and cancellation of orders
1. We have specified the kind of cancellations of orders that we will consider valid on the FAQ page. (Please confirm the FAQ page.) Cancellations of orders of products which do not fall under our specifications will be considered invalid.
2. We will accept cancellations of orders in cases where products are found to be impossible to procure, such as books that are out of print.
3. When a user’s debt to us such as for the payment of books exceeds our designated limit, we will not take further orders from the user.
Data Maintenance
1. We maintain data on orders that users make on our website, and on order processing and delivery of products, and make the data available to users through Our Services.
2. The time period for maintaining the data on orders, order processing, delivery, and other details such as about products that are out of stock, will be in line with the operation rules that we have established separately.
3. Regardless of the preceding clause, in the case that Our Services are suspended, cancelled or terminated, we cannot guarantee maintenance of data on orders, order processing and delivery.
Exemption of liability
1. We have no responsibility whatsoever for damages which users may incur from using this site.
2. If any user causes damages for a third party through the use of the site, that user must bear responsibility and pay for any necessary costs to solve the problem, ensuring that no damage is caused to us.
3. We have the right to change the type of credit card which may be used without prior notice to users.
Termination of membership

If a member is found to have been engaged in any of the following acts, we will terminate membership without prior notice or demand. The member’s password will become invalid and Our Services will become immediately inaccessible.
1. Submitting false data when registering for membership
2. Stealing the email addresses or passwords from other members
3. Deliberately obstructing the operation or our website
4. Not paying for books and products purchased through Our Services by the designated date
5. Taking other kinds of behavior which we deem is inappropriate for a user
Unsubscribing

To unsubscribe, users must take the necessary procedures through the unsubscribing page on our website, and at the same time must immediately pay any debt owed to us.
Agreement jurisdictional court

If a dispute should occur between a member and Neutrino Inc. concerning these rules and the use of Our Services, the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive agreement jurisdictional court of first instance.
