1. How to make an order

(1) To buy a product, click the “Add to Cart” button. A list will appear showing the items in the cart.

(2) It is possible to simultaneously make an order for multiple books and other products.

  • To make an order, click the “Proceed to Checkout” button.
  • To change the quantity of books you are ordering, retype the number and then click the “Recalculate” button.
  • To continue shopping, click the “Continue Shopping” button.
  • To delete a product, click the garbage bin (delete) mark on the left side of the product.

(3) After clicking the “Proceed to Checkout” button, the “Order Information, Shipping Information” page will appear for customers who are signed in. Please confirm the contents of the order, customer information, details on shipping destination and payment methods, as well as the “other messages” field, and type in additional information if necessary. When you have finished, click the “Order Confirmation” button.

(4) For customers who are not signed in, the “Sign in” Page will appear after clicking the “Proceed to checkout” button. Please sign in by submitting your email address and password. If you are not a member, you are requested to either register for membership or use “Non-member Purchases”.

*Prices of products do not differ between members and non-members

“Your order details” page appears. Click the “Place an order” button once you are satisfied with the contents of the order, customer information, details on shipping destination and payment methods, and what is written on the “other messages” field.

  • To make revisions, click the “Return” button.

The “Order Completed” page appears. An automatic return mail (Confirmation mail for purchase order) will be sent to the email address submitted when you made the order. If you do not receive this email within 2 days after you ordered, please let us know by telephone.

2. Payment methods

We accept the following three methods of payment:

  • Settlements by credit card
  • Settlements by cash on delivery (COD) (“Takkyubin Collect Daikin Hikikae COD service )
  • Payment by a public entity, school, or company
3. Orders settled by credit card

When shipping preparations have been made, the settlement will be made through the credit card of your choice.
We accept payments via the following credit cards: VISA/ Master/ JCB/ AMEX/ Diners.
For credit card settlements, we use the credit payment services provided by Zeus Corp. Further details can be viewed here.
We have a sophisticated security system that enables customers to enjoy shopping with peace of mind.

*If you have made an order for multiple books, there may be times when divided shipment is made. In such cases when products are delivered separately, the settlement will be made once after all items have been shipped.

4. Orders settled by cash on delivery (COD) (“Takkyubin Collect Daikin Hikikae COD service )

The products will be shipped through the Yamato Transport Co.’s “Takkyubin Collect Daikin Hikikae (COD)” service. When you receive the products, please pay the fee for the products plus the COD fee of 250 yen. We will send an email to notify you when the items have been shipped.

Customers are required to pay the COD fee of 250 yen.

* If you have made an order for multiple books, there may be times when divided shipment is made. In such cases when items are delivered separately, you will be required to pay the COD fee only once on arrival of the first delivery.

5. Payments by public entity, schools, and companies

The price quotation, delivery note and invoice will be sent together with the shipped products. Please make the necessary payment to our bank account or post office account.

*The number of our bank account or post office account will be written on the invoice.

On the Order Information and Shipping Information pages, please specify your requests, such as to whom the invoice should be addressed, the number of certain papers that are necessary, and other details concerning paperwork.

*There may be times when we will make contact concerning procedural matters.
Please also be advised that in such cases, the items may be shipped after payment for them has been made.

6. Confirmation mail for order

After placing an order, an automatic response mail (Confirmation mail for purchase order) will be sent to the email address submitted when the order was made.

Please note however, that there may be times when this mail may not reach the customer due to factors such as the effect of the customer’s anti-virus software, or error in the email address.

If you do not receive this email within 2 days after you ordered, please let us know by telephone.

7. Issuance of receipts

If you wish to receive a receipt, please let us know through the “other messages” field on the Order Information, Shipping Information page or through the “inquiries” form.
When sending the email to us, please make sure to include the following details:

  • The addressee (name to be written on receipt)
  • The item (for example: Fee for books)

  • The number of the delivery note (The number on the upper right side of the delivery note that comes with the item.)

The price is indicated on the page of each book (tax included). The price of a delivered item is the same as the price indicated when the order was made. Indicated prices may change according to factors such as publishers making revisions in the original costs as well as fluctuations in foreign exchange. Please also be aware that the original prices of books scheduled to be published and of reprint editions may be revised at the time of publishing.

Fees necessary other than for products

In principle, orders made to Neutrino cannot be cancelled once the confirmation mail for the order has been sent to you. However, since the circumstances of publishing and inventory are constantly changing, there may be cases where orders will be cancelled.

Delivery time

time In principle, the products we sell are procured from overseas publishers. For books that have already been published, the delivery time takes 3 to 5 weeks. For books that are not yet published, the delivery time is usually 2 to 3 weeks after the date of publishing. Delivery may be delayed due to a number of reasons such as books being temporarily out of stock, a delay in the arrival of stock or a delay in publishing. In such cases, we will send an email to you to inform you of the delay.

Cancellation of products

Because of the nature of our products, we cannot accept cancellations of orders or return of products. However, we will accept cancellations for unpublished books on which cancellations can be made to publishers. Cancellations will also be accepted for books which are out of stock at the publishers.

Return and exchange of products

We will accept returns and exchange of products in the case that a wrong item has been delivered, or if the books have disorderly binding or missing pages. Please let us know of the fault found with the item within 7 days after delivery by email, telephone or fax. Aside from these cases, we cannot comply with customers’ wishes to return or exchange a product.
